Donate to a Challenge

Donations are at the heart of solidarity challenges on OuiRace. Whether you are a challenge participant or a supporter, you can contribute financially to support the cause championed by the fundraising organization.

Who can donate?​

Anyone can donate to a challenge on OuiRace:

  • Participants registered for the challenge, to complement their athletic commitment with financial support.
  • Friends and supporters who want to encourage a participant or directly support the cause.
  • Visitors (not logged in): donations are open to everyone, but signing in or creating an account will be required to complete the payment.

If you do not have an OuiRace account, you will be redirected to the sign-in or registration page before you can finalize your donation. The process is quick and will automatically bring you back to the challenge after signing in.

Making a Donation​

Step 1: Go to the challenge​

Navigate to the page of the challenge you want to contribute to, either by browsing the challenge list or via a link shared by a participant.

Step 2: Choose the amount​

On the challenge page, click the Donate button. A window appears with the following options:

  • Preset amounts: 10 EUR, 20 EUR, 50 EUR, and 100 EUR. These amounts are offered to make your choice easier.
  • Custom amount: click the input field to enter the amount of your choice.

Every euro counts

There is no such thing as a small donation. Even a modest contribution moves the fundraising forward and encourages other participants to give as well.

Minimum amount

The minimum donation amount is 1 EUR. Below this threshold, the transaction cannot be processed.

Step 3: Proceed to payment​

After selecting your amount:

  1. Click Confirm to access the payment form.
  2. You are redirected to the secure payment gateway (Societe Generale VADS).
  3. Enter your credit card information in the secure interface.
  4. Confirm the payment (3D Secure authentication if required by your bank).

Secure payment

Payments are processed by the Societe Generale VADS gateway, compliant with PCI-DSS standards. Your banking information is never stored on OuiRace servers.

Step 4: Confirmation​

Once the payment is validated:

  • A confirmation message is displayed on screen.
  • You receive a confirmation email with a summary of your donation (amount, date, challenge, and beneficiary organization).
  • The amount is immediately added to the challenge's fundraising progress.
  • If you are a challenge participant, your contribution appears in your personal history.

Impact of Your Donation​

Your donation has an immediate and visible impact:

  • Progress bar: the amount raised progresses in real time on the challenge page.
  • Collective encouragement: your donation is visible (amount and first name) in the challenge activity feed, motivating others to contribute.
  • Direct support: 100% of your donation (excluding transaction fees) goes to the fundraising organization.
