Complete Your Profile

A complete profile on OuiRace is essential for an optimal experience. Certain information is required for race registration, leaderboards, and personalizing your journey on the platform.

Why Complete Your Profile?​

OuiRace checks your profile completeness at key moments, especially before each race. If required information is missing, you will receive pre-race reminders prompting you to fill it in.

Required Information for Races

The last name, date of birth, and gender fields are required for race registration. Without this information, you will not be able to finalize your participation.

Accessing Your Profile​

  1. Log in to your OuiRace account.
  2. Click on your avatar or username in the navigation bar.
  3. Select My Profile or Account Settings.

Personal Information​

Identity​

Fill in the following information in the Personal Information section:

  • First name: your first name as it will appear in leaderboards.
  • Last name: required for official race registration.
  • Date of birth: used to determine your age category in leaderboards.
  • Gender: enables classification in male/female categories.

Athletic Goals​

You can also set your goals to personalize your experience:

  • Weekly or monthly distance goals
  • Sports practiced (running, cycling, swimming, etc.)
  • Experience level

Setting goals allows you to receive personalized encouragement and track your progress over time.

Profile Picture​

Add a photo to personalize your account and be easily recognized in leaderboards and challenges.

  1. Go to the Profile Picture section in your settings.
  2. Click Change photo or on the default avatar.
  3. Select an image from your device.
  4. Adjust the crop if needed.
  5. Confirm to save your new photo.

Recommended Format

Use a square image (e.g., 400x400 pixels) for optimal display. JPG and PNG formats are accepted.

Email Verification​

Verifying your email ensures the security of your account and allows you to receive important notifications (registration confirmations, race results, etc.).

  1. From your account settings, find the Email Verification section.
  2. Click Send verification code.
  3. Check your inbox: you will receive a 6-digit code.
  4. Enter this code in the designated field on OuiRace.
  5. Your email is now verified (a verification badge will appear).

Code Expired?

The verification code has a limited validity period. If you didn't enter it in time, click Resend code to receive a new one.

Phone Number Verification​

Verifying your phone number is optional but recommended to strengthen your account security.

  1. Go to the Phone Number section in your settings.
  2. Enter your phone number with the international dialing code (e.g., +33 for France).
  3. Click Send verification SMS.
  4. You will receive a 6-digit code via SMS.
  5. Enter the received code to complete verification.

Mailing Address​

Enter your full address, especially if you are participating in races that require shipping of bibs or equipment.

  1. Go to the Address section of your profile.
  2. Fill in the following fields:
    • Address (street and number)
    • Postal code
    • City
    • Country (selected via country code)
  3. Save your changes.
Country Code

The country selector uses international country codes. Your selection also determines the address and phone number formats offered.
