Referral Analytics
Referral analytics let you track registration conversions from external sources, for races that use an external registration URL.
This feature is evolving. New metrics and visualizations will be added progressively.
What is referral?
Referral tracks registrations generated when a participant accesses your race through an external link. It lets you measure the effectiveness of your external communication channels (social media, newsletters, partner websites).
Accessing referral analytics
- From your organizer dashboard, go to the Analytics section.
- Referral data is displayed for races configured with an external registration URL.

Time-based tracking chart
A timeline chart displays referral activity over the selected period. It lets you visualize:
- The volume of referral activity over time.
- Activity spikes corresponding to your communication campaigns.
- Acquisition trends through external channels.

Applicable races
Referral analytics are only available for races that have an external registration URL configured. If your race uses OuiRace's built-in registration system, referral data is not applicable.
To maximize the value of referral analytics, use distinct tracking URLs for each communication channel (e.g., one link for Facebook, another for your newsletter). This will help you identify the best-performing channels.
Current limitations
Since this feature is still under development, some advanced capabilities are not yet available:
- Breakdown by referral source
- Conversion rate
- Multi-channel attribution
These improvements will be integrated in upcoming platform updates.
