Funds Over Time Chart
The funds chart provides a clear visualization of how your revenue evolves over time, distinguishing between different funding sources.
Chart location
The chart is displayed directly on your dashboard, below the KPI cards. It updates automatically based on the applied filters.

Chart type
The chart uses a stacked bar chart format that layers two revenue categories:
- Registrations: amounts received from race registrations.
- Donations: amounts collected through participant or supporter donations.
This visualization lets you see at a glance the breakdown between registrations and donations, as well as peak activity periods.
Time period selector
Above the chart, a selector lets you choose the displayed time range:
| Period | Description |
|---|---|
| Week | Shows data for the last 7 days, day by day |
| Month | Shows data for the last 30 days |
| All | Shows the complete history since your organization was created |
Use the Week view to track the immediate impact of a communication campaign. Switch to All to analyze long-term trends.
Interaction with filters
The chart responds to the filter by race feature. When you select a specific race from the dropdown menu, the chart updates to display only the revenue associated with that race.

The chart is powered by Chart.js and automatically adapts to your screen size. Hover over the bars with your mouse to display the exact amounts.
Interpreting the data
- Sudden spike: a significantly taller bar indicates a high-activity day, often tied to a campaign or an approaching registration deadline.
- Donation/registration ratio: if donations make up a large share, your race is attracting supporters beyond registered participants.
- Quiet periods: low or absent bars may signal the need to boost your communication.
