Understanding Fees
When you collect funds through OuiRace, fees are applied to each transaction. This page explains the fee structure and how to interpret the amounts displayed on your dashboard.
Fee structure
Two types of fees apply to each payment received:
Payment provider fees
The payment provider charges fees calculated using the following formula:
(amount x 2%) + 0.25 EUR
For example, for a 50 EUR registration, the payment fees are:
- (50 x 0.02) + 0.25 = 1.25 EUR
OuiRace platform fees
OuiRace charges platform fees on transactions. The details of these fees are visible in the financial section of your dashboard.
Fees are automatically deducted from the collected amount. The amount displayed in your KPIs corresponds to the gross amount collected, before fee deductions.
Breakdown on the dashboard
Your financial space displays a clear breakdown of amounts:
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| Registrations | Total amount received from race registrations |
| Donations | Total amount of donations received |
| Platform fees | Total fees charged by OuiRace and the payment provider |

Available amount
The available amount is the net amount collected, meaning the total of registrations and donations minus all fees.
Transfers to your bank account are not yet available on the platform. The available amount represents your organization's net balance, but it cannot yet be automatically transferred. See the bank details status page to prepare for setting up transfers.
Example calculation
For a race with 100 registrations at 30 EUR each:
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Gross registrations | 3,000 EUR |
| Payment fees (per registration) | (30 x 0.02) + 0.25 = 0.85 EUR |
| Total payment fees | 85 EUR |
| Platform fees | Variable based on your agreement |
| Estimated net amount | 3,000 EUR - total fees |
Factor fees into your registration pricing to meet your fundraising goals. Slightly increase the price if you want to absorb the fees without impacting your margin.
