Account Settings

The Settings tab of your profile lets you configure the general preferences of your OuiRace account: display language, notifications, privacy, and account deletion.

Accessing Settings​

  1. Go to your profile by clicking your avatar, then My profile.
  2. Select the Settings tab.

You can also access it directly via the URL /my-profile/settings.

Display Language​

OuiRace is available in several languages. To change the interface language:

  1. In the Language section, open the dropdown menu.
  2. Select your preferred language from the available options:
    • Francais (fr)
    • English (en)
    • Deutsch (de)
    • Espanol (es)
    • Italiano (it)
  3. The change is applied immediately.

Changing the language affects the entire OuiRace interface: menus, buttons, notification emails, and platform communications. Content created by organizers (race descriptions, instructions) remains in its original language.

Notification Preferences​

Configure the types of communications you wish to receive from OuiRace:

  • Race reminders: notifications before your races (bib pickup, last-minute information).
  • New races: alerts when new races matching your preferences are published.
  • Results: notification when your race results are available.
  • Marketing communications: promotional offers and platform news.

At a minimum, keep race reminders enabled so you do not miss any important information from organizers before race day.

Privacy​

Privacy settings allow you to control the visibility of your information:

  • Public profile: choose whether your profile is visible to other users.
  • Visible results: control whether your race results appear in public rankings.

Even if you make your profile private, your results may still appear in official rankings published by race organizers, in accordance with sporting regulations.

Account Deletion​

If you wish to permanently delete your OuiRace account:

  1. Scroll down to the Delete account section at the bottom of the settings page.
  2. Click the Delete my account button.
  3. Carefully read the consequences displayed in the dialog box.
  4. Confirm by entering your password or following the required validation procedure.

Irreversible deletion

Account deletion is permanent. All your data will be erased:

  • Registration history and results
  • Favorites and preferences
  • Strava and Garmin connections
  • Personal data

If you have active registrations for upcoming races, contact the relevant organizers before deleting your account to arrange a possible refund.
