Privacy Settings Mobile app
The OuiRace mobile app lets you control the visibility of your information and activities through privacy settings.
Accessing the settings​
- Open the mobile app.
- Go to your profile.
- Tap Privacy Settings.
Available options​
Hide your name in races​
Enable this option so that your name does not appear in rankings and participant lists for races. Your participation is still recorded, but your identity is hidden from other users.
This option affects public rankings. Organizers will always be able to see your registration in their dashboard.
Hide from the community​
Enable this option to not appear in user searches and friend suggestions. Your profile will still be accessible via a direct link, but you will not be suggested to other users.
Default media visibility​
Choose the visibility automatically applied to photos and videos you add to your activities:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Public | Everyone can see your media in the news feed |
| Friends | Only your accepted friends can see your media |
| Private | No one can see your media except you |
You can always change the visibility of each media item individually when publishing or from the activity edit page.
Automatic saving​
Privacy settings are saved automatically as soon as you change an option. No confirmation button is needed.
