Using a promo code
Race organizers can create promotional codes that offer a discount on the registration price. If you have a promo code, here's how to use it.
Where to enter the promo code?
The promotional code field is available at step 2 of the registration process, in the options section.
- Start your race registration.
- Complete step 1 (participant information).
- At step 2, find the "Promotional code" or "Promo code" field.
- Enter your code and validate.

Real-time validation
As soon as you enter and validate the code, OuiRace checks it instantly. The system verifies several criteria:
| Check | Description |
|---|---|
| Code exists | The code matches one created by the organizer |
| Linked to the race | The code is associated with this specific race |
| Active | The code has not been deactivated by the organizer |
| Not expired | The code's validity period has not passed |
| Uses remaining | The maximum number of uses has not been reached |
If the code is invalid, an explicit error message tells you the reason: unknown code, expired, maximum uses reached, etc. You can correct it or try another code.
Applying the discount
When the code is successfully validated:
- The discount type is a percentage (e.g., -20%, -50%)
- The discount applies to the race format price
- The new amount is displayed immediately in the summary
- The discount is visible at step 3 (payment) on the total amount
Concrete example
| Without code | With -30% code | |
|---|---|---|
| Format price (21 km) | 35.00 euros | 24.50 euros |
| T-shirt (optional) | 15.00 euros | 15.00 euros |
| Total | 50.00 euros | 39.50 euros |
The discount applies only to the race price, not to articles or additional options. Article prices remain unchanged.

Rules to know
One code per registration
You can only apply one promotional code per registration. If you have multiple codes, choose the one that offers the best discount.
Codes cannot be combined
Promo codes cannot be combined with each other or with any other offers.
Limited-use codes
Some codes have a limited number of uses (e.g., the first 50 registrants). If the code shows "maximum uses reached," it means the quota has been exhausted.
Promotional codes generally have a limited validity period. Apply your code as soon as possible to avoid it expiring before your registration.
Where to get a promo code?
Promotional codes are distributed by race organizers through:
- Their social media accounts and newsletters
- Partnerships with sports clubs or brands
- One-time promotional campaigns
OuiRace does not directly provide promo codes -- they are always created and distributed by the organizers.
