Free registration
Some races on OuiRace are offered at a price of 0 euros. For these events, the registration process is simplified: the payment step is removed entirely.
Identifying a free race​
Free races are easy to spot in the catalog:
- The price shown on the card is 0.00 euros or Free
- On the detailed race page, the format price is listed as 0 euros

Free races are often charity events, discovery races, or walks open to everyone. Use the catalog filters to find them.
Simplified registration process​
Registering for a free race follows a reduced process of 2 steps instead of 3:
Step 1: Participant information​
As with any registration, you provide your personal information and choose your format. If your profile is complete, the fields are automatically pre-filled.
Step 2: Options (if available)​
If the organizer offers options (articles, donation for charity races), they are presented as usual. Otherwise, this step may be empty or skipped.
No step 3​
The payment step via the bank gateway does not appear. Your registration is confirmed directly after completing step 2.

How it works in practice​
- From the race page, click "Register".
- Verify or complete your personal information (step 1).
- Select any options if offered (step 2).
- Click "Submit" -- your registration is immediately confirmed.
Free registration is almost instant if your profile is already complete. One click, one verification, and you're done.
Confirmation​
After submission, you receive:
- A success screen with a summary of your registration
- A confirmation email sent to the address associated with your account
- The registration appears in your Activity tracking section
Paid options on a free race​
Even if the race itself is free, some options may be paid:
- Articles (t-shirts, medals) -- see Choose articles
- Donation for charity races -- see Make a donation
If you add paid options to a free race, the payment step will be restored to process the amount of the selected options.
