Making a donation during registration
Races identified as charity races on OuiRace are linked to a charitable cause. When registering for one of these races, you have the option to make an optional donation in support of the partner organization.
Identifying a charity race​
Charity races are recognizable by the "Charity" badge displayed on their card in the catalog. This badge indicates that the event is linked to a charitable organization.

Making a donation​
The donation field is available at step 2 of the registration process, in the options section.
Steps​
- Start your registration for the charity race.
- Complete step 1 (participant information).
- At step 2, find the "Donation" or "Support the organization" section.
- Enter the amount of your choice in the provided field.
- The donation amount is added to your registration total.

Even a small amount makes a difference. Every donation, regardless of the amount, contributes directly to the cause supported by the race.
Free amount​
The donation amount is entirely up to you. You choose how much you want to give:
- There is no required minimum amount
- There is no maximum amount
- Enter an amount in euros (e.g., 5, 10, 20, 50 euros)
The donation is optional. If you don't wish to donate, simply leave the field empty or at zero. This does not affect your race registration in any way.
Impact on the total amount​
The donation is added to your registration total and paid in a single transaction along with everything else:

The donation amount appears clearly in the summary at step 3 (payment) and in your confirmation email.
Donation destination​
The donation goes to the partner organization of the race. The organization's name is displayed in the donation section at step 2, so you know exactly who your contribution is going to.
OuiRace acts as an intermediary for collecting donations. The funds are forwarded to the organization by the race organizer.
Donations and free races​
Donations are also available for free races of the charity type. In this case:
- The race price is 0 euros
- If you make a donation, the payment step is restored to process the donation amount
- If you don't donate, the registration remains free with no payment required
Fundraising challenges​
Beyond the donation at registration, OuiRace offers a more comprehensive fundraising challenge system that lets you create a personal fundraising page and rally your network around your charity race.

If you want to go beyond a simple personal donation and involve your friends and family, fundraising challenges are for you. You can share your fundraising page and receive donations from your network.
Modifying or canceling a donation​
You can modify the donation amount or remove it as long as you haven't finalized the payment:
- Go back to step 2 of the registration.
- Change the amount in the donation field, or clear it.
- The total is recalculated automatically.
Once the payment is validated, the donation can no longer be modified. Make sure to check the amount in the summary before confirming your payment.
