Register for a race
Registering for a race on OuiRace takes 3 simple steps. The process is designed to be fast: if your profile is already filled in, most fields are pre-filled automatically.
Before you start
To register, go to the page of the race you want (see Browse races) and click the "Register" button.
You don't need an account before clicking "Register." OuiRace offers built-in authentication within the registration flow: you can create an account or sign in directly from the registration form without leaving the process.

Step 1: Participant information
The first step collects the personal information required for registration.
Required fields
- Last name and first name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Phone number
- Postal address
Automatic pre-fill
If you're logged in and your profile is complete, all fields are pre-filled with your information. You just need to verify and move on to the next step.
Format selection (distance)
If the race offers multiple formats (e.g., 10 km, 21 km, 42 km), select the one you want to participate in. The displayed price adjusts automatically based on the chosen format.

Fill in your profile once to save time on all future registrations. Go to Manage my account.
Step 2: Options
The second step offers additional options. All of them are optional.
Articles and merchandise
Select items offered by the organizer: t-shirts, commemorative medals, etc. Choose the size if applicable. Items are added to the total amount.

Cancellation insurance
Enable cancellation insurance to protect yourself in case of unforeseen circumstances. The cost is calculated automatically based on the race price.

Donation (charity races)
For charity races, an optional donation field lets you support the partner organization.

Promo code
If you have a promo code, enter it in the dedicated field. The discount is applied immediately.

Step 3: Payment
The final step redirects you to the secure payment gateway to complete your registration.
Payment gateway
Payment is handled by Societe Generale through their VADS (Vente A Distance Securisee) solution. You temporarily leave OuiRace to complete the payment on the bank's platform.
Accepted payment methods
- Bank card (Visa, Mastercard, CB)
Payment confirmation
After payment, you are automatically redirected to OuiRace. The platform checks the payment status with the bank (polling). Once confirmation is received:
- A success screen is displayed with a summary of your registration
- A confirmation email is sent to you
- The registration appears in your Activity tracking section

Do not close your browser during payment verification. If the page seems to be loading for a while, wait a few seconds -- the system is querying the bank to confirm the transaction.
Free registration
Some races are offered at 0 euros. In this case, the payment step is skipped entirely and your registration is confirmed immediately after step 2.

Duplicate protection
OuiRace prevents duplicate registrations. If you try to register for a race you're already signed up for, a message will inform you that your registration already exists.
This check applies per participant and format combination. You can register for multiple different formats of the same race if the organizer allows it.
Built-in authentication
If you click "Register" without being logged in, the registration form will prompt you to:
- Sign in with your existing account
- Create an account directly within the registration flow
In both cases, you remain in the registration process without being redirected to an external page. Your information is then pre-filled from your new account.
